Outfit of the Day: Sheer Varsity

Hey there folks!

Today was a series of unfortunate events chimed in throughout the day, no kidding. Today was definitely not my day, I arrived thirty minutes late to my exam. Which is any university student's nightmare and I basically submitted an exam with half-answered questions... unbelievable. My outfit reflects the negative attitude I had, especially when I was getting ready to write my accounting exam. But nonetheless, I cannot do much about the situation and have to get past it.

Anyways about my outfit, as I mentioned earlier it is a completely a full-black ensemble and I decided to keep it minimal since I wanted my sheer varsity jacket to be the standout piece and also since I did not want to wear accessories or anything constraining while writing an exam. Of course this outfit is something I wore indoors hence the sheer varsity jacket. Toronto is currently at -30 degrees Celsius and I wore several layers to combat the cold. I wore some black jeans with slits at the knees and probably not the best idea to be exposing any skin but its okay, I got no frost-bites. Here is the outfit, I better get going; I have class at 8:30 am. Have a goodnight and see you guys in the next post :)

Outfit of the Day: Casual Leather

Hey Folks,
Welcome to the blog! I decided to share with all of you fellow readers with my inspirations, expression of my style encompassed in my outfits, outfit ideas on this blog, etc. I had another blog prior to this, which you can still visit MahaHawk Blog, but I decided it was time I created a blog that was synonymous with all my other identities I have existing on various platforms [YouTube, Instagram]. I started MahaHawk blog as a hobby and believed it was a time for change with providing my readers with more quality content and efforts to exhibit a more professional perspective to my blog.
Well that's that, just a quick intro in a nut shell... I am a 20 year old student studying at the Schulich School of Business, and as most post-secondary students I have no idea what I want to major in. It is fair to say I have never worked in a professional career and therefore I am in no position to select a major that will reflect what I would like to do everyday for the rest of my life. I am currently in second year of my studies doing a general Business Administration program at school, but as of third and fourth year I get the chance to specialize in an industry [be it Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Consulting, Strategic Management, Economics, etc] and in my first and second year I am taking courses from each industry to determine what field of interest I gravitate towards. I am thinking to get my CPA [Chartered Professional Accountant] Designation and use the skills I have acquired and utilize it towards the fashion industry; of course these are plans in progress and can subject to change anytime. All I know is I am looking for a career that combines business and fashion and that is only a matter of time I will figure out what career options are in store for me. Education, check, my interests includes photography, filming, styling [I am totally hinting... that I make YouTube videos], I do Muay Thai, and if I could I would probably want to learn how to DJ [so cool] and learn to dance [not sure which style, hip-hop? break-dancing? contemporary? tap dancing?], oh and I almost forgot to include on my long list of interests, I also love travelling and exploring everywhere. I love to take advantage of my surroundings and discover hidden gems in the city and always on the search for finding a new place.
I totally apologize for my extremely heavy text-content post but this is a rare occasion [trust me], I am just providing all of the readers an idea who I am and what I strive to do on this blog. Now that I had gone through all the formal introductions, without further ado lets get into my outfit post.
I am letting you know now there will be several school outfits, which completely makes sense since  this is the stage where school is essentially my full-time job. Of course living in Toronto, weather plays a huge factor as to how I dress up, just to give you an idea I find layering essential in a city where the weather fluctuates by the hour. Hence the denim shirt tied around my waist is a common trend I follow as I can quickly wear it on for an extra layer of warmth...or when things get a bit heated up I can simply tie it around my waist for an effortless look. A pair of leather trousers or joggers, whatever term you are familiar with will make any look a bit more put-together, cause if you have ever worn joggers you know they are just like pajamas but you can get away with wearing them outside (how amazing?). The windchill has been making Toronto a really cold place to live lately so of course I layered up some tights underneath for some extra warmth and since I felt leather joggers are a bold statement on its own I decided to balance it out with my white top. I use these basic items to mix-match in my wardrobe to look stylish and yet be warm for this chilly winter. That is the end of my post and for those of you who are doing your midterms I wish you luck and I hope everyone a nice weekend.
