Outfit of the Day: All Black // April Vlog Diary

Hey guys!

Now I can finally breathe, so at the very least have a peace of mind. I am so over and so done with exams and beyond excited for what the summer has in store. It is time to unwind and finally explore the city thoroughly and getting ready to attend all the festivals/events being held in Toronto. The past few days I was barely home as everyone decided to meet up as much as we can before we all depart on our vacations. So the past few days I went out for sushi dates, checked out Allens Garden which is an amazing greenhouse to check out, went to Yuk Yuks Comedy Club; which was full of laughs, went to Fashion Art Toronto; which was so amazing, and more walking around. Fashion Art Toronto exceeded my expectations and if you are into fashion it is a must to check it out, there were several runway shows, performances and great people who attended the event. I will attach some photos to show some of the events I have attended these past couple of days :)

On to my outfit, this one I actually wore to my Birthday gathering. I wanted to be simple and not be overly glammed up. It was a casual outing to the comedy club and I did not want to be overdressed and decided to be low key with the accessories. The sheer varsity jacket made a comeback and it is definitely a showstopper on its own, yet it is versatile and gives any ordinary outfit a sporty touch. Here is the outfit. Well I hope you guys had an amazing weekend :)

Outfit of the Day: Mixing Prints

Hey guys!

Oh my god, my Birthday is in two hours! My Birthday plans... are well nothing but study. I actually have my Accounting Exam on my Birthday then my Finance exam followed along on the next day. Don't worry I have some plans set aside which I do plan to Vlog on my YouTube channel.  I really should be studying, but I honestly cannot study all day. Okay I shall stop ranting here. As mentioned Toronto weather fluctuates, so I prepared myself by wearing several layers. It was actually a lot warmer than I anticipated to be. I usually like bringing extra layers since I go to the library in the morning, spend a good while studying and leave late evening; usually the temperature drops by then. I love to style black and white outfits, it is always a great combo especially to mix match. My easy way of mix-matching print is to start off with stripes and mix it with another print that is relatively larger in its print or smaller but not the same. I feel if the prints are relatively the same size they are competing and it gets too busy. Then I topped everything off with a leather jacket to give the outfit a more tougher look. I absolutely love the finishing look and I decided to wear some cute lace espadrilles to balance out the black. I hope all of you guys have a great weekend!  Here is the look :)

Outfit of the Day: Glam Grunge

Hey there guys!

I am going straight to outfit of the day, at this point I will probably write a massive rant about school. I make some effort each day to walk around outside; take a breather, be human again. The worst part is when I see some ray of sunshine shining on my textbook as I am studying. I am one of those people who love the outdoors so actually staying indoors for a whole day is terrible. I never spend my spare time relaxing and watching movies at home, my ideal way of spending leisure time is simply exploring the city. Anyways just realized I ranted so I will move on to my outfit (oops).

My whole outfit is center around my rock concert tee and I wanted to make it a whole grunge look. It was actually easy to make it a whole grunge outfit, I just styled a flannel shirt, some creeper shoes and a beanie. I thought a cool way to contrast the grungy outfit was to pair a glamorous gem bib necklace. Here is the outfit :) Make sure to enjoy the nice weather. See you guys in the next post.

Outfit of the Day: Thrifted Denim

Hey guys!

Oh my god my exams are almost here and I still could not get myself to study. Toronto is picking up in terms of the spring weather and I cannot, absolutely cannot study. The weather was perfection and I was beyond excited to take in the sunlight of a true spring day. As usual, I take advantage by exploring downtown and walking around the roof top garden of City Hall. If you have never been, go there! I urge you to spend some time walking around it is more beautiful during the summer when everything starts blooming. I decided to wear my overly-distressed denim jacket as tribute to Spring, and decided to keep everything neutral underneath. I decided to stack on a couple of silver jewelry for some more statement. Hope you enjoy the outfit :)

Outfit of the Day: All Black Everything

Hey guys!

I am back with another outfit of the day! I love how simple this outfit is yet it is bold in its own way. The fur coat is one of those outfits, I personally find challenging to style, considering no one would like to look like a grizzly bear. But of course, if you style it properly it is definitely a show stopper. The weathers been quite gloomy, hence it is Spring in Toronto; which only means raining all day. I do not know you fellas do it at England, considering it rains there all year long. The gloomy weather lead to an all black outfit, which is usually the case, as I like to gravitate towards the dark colours in my closet. I went for a whole monochromatic look with a black palette and just played with textures. A chiffon v-neck dress which works as a double, I tucked it into my jeans for use as a tank top. Then some denim slit at the knee for that more effortless look and topped it off with my furry coat. The best thing ever, considering I love to wrap myself in fur when it is a bit cool outside. Here is the look, hope you enjoy it :) Have a great weekend.

Outfit of the Day: Window Pane & Gem Headphones

Hey guys.

How are you all doing? It is finally spring! I am so excited now that I can ditch the winter coat (well sort of), obviously being Toronto; the weather makes absolute no sense. I have to bust out my winter coat for the evening and basically strip off all the layers I have every hour or so throughout the day, yeah the weather fluctuates every hour. (no kidding)

Anyways I have been working on a DIY Project recently, hence my whole outfit revolved around the DIY. I kept the remainder of my outfit simple and let my DIY do all the talking. My Do-It-Yourself was actually based off these gem headphones from Frends in collaboration with Bauble Bar. Here is the link, to get an idea what I am talking about, Gem Headphones - BB x Frends, are so stunning and actually been on my wish list for a long time. Then I realized these headphones are not so practical since I will use them heavily. The shelf life for these bad boys will last a fraction of the time in comparison to another user of these headphones. I live in my headphones, when I am commuting, when I am editing videos, when I am jogging, just every instance I can get. I also look into some reviews and the music quality did not rank high, so I decided I would have to find an alternative or simply make a pair. I decided to make a pair since it seemed like an easy DIY to do, so here it is. I am currently in the works of editing my DIY video, so I will keep you guys posted when I upload it. I love the outcome of the DIY and it was pretty straightforward and the great thing about this DIY (or any DIY) is that it is customizable to your needs. Without further a-do here is my outfit.
